Hi all, got my new Uggies today. Its a Grade IV, 16ga, love this gun!!!
Anyway, took it out to the range and patterned it. Much looser than what was stated when I bought it. Shot some field clays with it. Boy, this gun breaks them just fine. Missed 1 out of 15 (all I had left) and that was my fault, knew it when I pulled the trigger.
I'm going to take the advice of all you and hunt it this season to see how it performs (if it does well on birds as it did on clays - I'm happy). Anyway my question is:
What are the choke designations for spanish guns? My bbls are marked as follows:
Right: ****
Left: ***
If these markings are the same as other euorpean makers it should read IC/Mod, just not sure with the spanish marks is all.
Just curious, as I said the gun is breaking them just fine.
Thanks so very much!!!

the "stars" in the barrels are printed by the Spanish Proof House after measuring the chokes, no matter what the builder says. So yes, **** is IC and *** is Mod. Perfect chokes for upland shooting. Congrats. EJSXS |
