No. went to his place and they weren't shooting, so we went where I normally go, missed them by 15 min. Said they closed due to the heat, and no one showingup.
So we did what normal guys do in that situation, drove to Kittery Trading Post and gun shopped. Found a nice 3 barrel brouning skeet set that Mike or I will end up with 20/28/410, 28" tubes.
Looked at a S&W 20ga sxs. nice gun for 2k. toucked a cz, don't really get what all the fuss is about. For me , same price point get me a nice vintage thing. But thats me, and I have my own ideas at this point, as you well know.

I wasn't aware you just recently got a pair of finely tuned pointy dogs, good for you, but what do the pits think about that?? and who's house do you keep them at?

why would anyone want a pair of pitbulls, crunching pheasents on the side of a gun, xcept maybe Mike Vick

Jealousy will NOT get you in the field with my finely tuned pointing type dogs. Razz

Did you shoot today with your NEW FRIEND Sprocket?

Now who's sounding jealous ? But then again, you pay under $4.00 a box for ammo, and someone else has to special order the shorty expensive stuff. Maybe he is the jealous one after all.

I should change my handle to "instigator" !!

I think we need anothre get together before hunting season is upon us. I reaaly wanted to do the driven shoot at the end of Sept but can not do.

Bow season starts here in 2 weeks and I just don't have any ambition to even go.

So let's go shooting. Very Happy

Yea and to boot he bought those paper ones. Even more expensive. Razz

Although I just picked up a flat of #5s in the 2.5" for the Sterly too.
I've got more ammo than I can store. Very Happy
But I'm already starting to put a very small dent into it. I shot a full flat between Friday and today at trap.
