Is anyone else experiencing VERY slow response times on this forum? It takes several minutes to change pages/topics/etc - I don't believe it is my computer, I have a cable modem and a very fast ISP and OS, plus every other site I visit is still running at its usual high speed.

Yep; me too. Annoying! Just got back from my Kansas opening day trip and there are lots of new posts to read, but it's so slow I can't take the time! |

Me too. Has to be a server problem. There are times it just sits there doing nothing. I go to other sites when it gets that bad. |

Same here. I have a cable modem, and this site is so slow. I often leave and go to another site. Takes forever to load. |

Same here, thought it was just me. Glad it isn't, cause I don't know very much about these things. |

Well we all complained about the response time and I just wondered if it was my imagination or if this site is a bit faster lately? Hmmmmm.

I've been off and on all day and haven't noticed anything faster or slower than normal. You guys just need better equipment. who says us Arkansans are backwards, my dsl is so fast I never pay any attention to differences.
Of course the real answer is that I'm probably the only 16 shooter/admirer within hundreds of miles of this godforsaken redneck hell hole. The net traffic is so much higher in all the shooter sophisticated places ya'll live that it's just clogging up the portals and slowing things down. The only thing that shuts up these redneck bastards when I show up with my 16 is how fast my game bag fills up. These old boys probably think that when the gun companies come out with a 4" 12 ga. shell that their shooting will improve. I really hope they never discover the finest gauge, they'll just run up the prices. keep the faith

I was duck hunting last week and not checking the website traffic. I must have missed the slowdown. It also means we didn't do anything on our end to correct it.
There are things about the web that no one understands... anyway its quicker again, sorry about the delays. --16ga. |
