That does seem like a good price if the rest of the gun is as nice as that 1 pic.
Somebody should buy it. |

Nice, but too much drop at heel for me. If it only had more modern dimension it would be a decent buy. Personaly, I won't have a sxs with more than 2 1/2 DAH. Learned that the hard way and actually the less drop the better for me anyway. Thats almost 3" of drop. Dang, if I wanted that much drop I'd prolly get an American classic like a Parker, fox or somesuch.
For 2750, I could get 2 Belgian guild guns with modern dimensions. Heck for 2500 there was a nice 16GA Osborne with 30" tubes I'd rather have. But, I think the gun is prolly priced right for those that like that much drop. I wouldnt pay more than a grand for it because I'd have to shell out another grand immediately to have it restocked. |

Hi, I'm back from Newfoundland. I had that gun in my hands at British Sporting Arms. Real nice engraving. The wood is straight grained, with a very coarse checkering. Except for the stock, the gun reminds me of a Merkel. It has ejectors, and balances real nice. |
