I have just registered for this great site. I just thought I would introduce myself. I am an avid Parker shooter and collector and a member of the PGCA. I do all my sporting clay shooting with a Parker GHE 16ga. with 30" barrels. I am looking forward to meeting all of you. Dave...

Thanx for the welcome. Actually my first 16ga. was a Remington Model 58 skeet gun. Kinda wish I still had it. I was a fun gun! Dave...

Welcome Parker 16, I too am member of the PGCA. I collect mainly Parker 16 gauges. And my go to gun is a Parker GH, 28" Damascus gun. Lots of good information on this site, and some pretty good discussions get going.

To Parker 16 and Dave M: Don't drive through San Rafael with those G grade Parkers or I'll have to have my gang of paid assassins relieve you of your goods. Parker Trojan Evil or Very Mad

Thanx for all your kind words. Now a question. I have a MEC JR that I use for reloading 20ga.My question is this. Should I buy a 16ga. machine or just get all the tooling from MEC to convert it from 20ga. to 16ga? What are your thoughts? Dave....

Get another press and buy used. the difference in cost is nil, and the convenience is invaluable. most used Mec Jrs sell for around $50 if you watch the market a bit and be patient. Plus, these presses are just about indestructable, so used is a non-relavent term.

I bought all three of my Mec presses on eBay; you should get them for $50 or less.
