A friend of mine asked me to go Quail hunting with him this weekend. I haven't Quail hunted in a few years. I was very hesitant to accept as I no longer can walk all day. He is a bit younger and can walk longer than I can. He said that would be no problem as we would hunt from his mule. Now I don't remember hunting from a mule as being very comfortable. They don't always do what you want them to do either. Then I found out that his "mule" is actually some sort of four wheel drive thing with a bench seat. I guess a "mule" isn't what it used to be. Of course, I accepted. |
