Great Time in Iowa! Good dog work, beautiful gun. Lots of corn still in the fields, onlyt 3 birds seen, only one of which was a rooster that flushed wild and didn't even get peppered.
Never pulled a trigger.
But in two weeks the corn should be out of the fields and the hunt should be better. Always look on the bright side. It did beat being at work!

Ash, I hope the birds are more cooperative next time. A day in the field without a shot fired is still better than any day at the office.

A bad day in the field is better than a good in the office. You wouldn't seen any phez in office whether they were in range or not. |
