my $.02 worth.
I LOVE Montana - all of it. Have a house in Bozeman too. Unfortunately due to one of my daughters disability we are in Sacto (CA) for awhile
Because my wife wouldn't tolerate a town with "less" than Bozeman, I love it too. In <1mile I can be in national forest and hunt elk, deer, (moose/mt goat if lucky enough to get a tag), and both Blue and Ruffed grouse. More land than you could walk in a lifetime (mountains ya know). Come home and take the wife to a nice restraunt - Skiing? 20 maybe 25 minutes. That's heaven to me.
I LOVE (and miss ) Montana - even Bozo |

I just drove down from Alaska and spent about 10 days hunting around Havre and one around Louistown. It was my first time to Montana and I had a wonderful trip. I certainly appreciated the block management program.
I do intend to come back. We did a lot of walking for the birds we got but we did get some pheaant, huns and sharptails. Hopeuflly I can learn more about where to go and have another successful trip. It was a joy for me and for the dog.
