past two days were good but today was a nice mixed bag of divers. Loads were either Bismuth 4's or Kent TM 5's. enjoy.

I bought it before they were discontinued and had it dipped by Duracoat in Max 4. I use a Trulock mod. choke (ext). and shoot everything with it. I have learned to use what you shoot best with and this is it for me. I have run the gamut with guns but this is is one that will never go away. It would hurt my head if I tried to count all the game this gun has harvested (quail, dove, ducks, geese, squirrels, rabbits, and deer) No turkey! for that I have a something special. |

Beware the man with one gun (ok...in some cases plus one more for turkey)!!! Good for you.
I'm in just about the same situation as you after owning many, but for me it was the 16 ga. model 12 that did the trick. I hate to say it, but if it's the only shotgun I get to use until I'm too frail to slap triggers anymore I'll still be happy. |

Could you give us a lesson in duck IDing? I think I can tell what they are, but would appreciate it from the horse's mouth.

I'm on the same page with you here.
1. Shoot the gun that shoots the best for you.
2. The 16 is good for just about 95% of any field shooting you'll ever do. Why bother to tote anything heavier.
Amen to that brother. |
