Does anyone have an idea how thick barrel walls have to be to install Briley thinwall chokes? Does anyone have experience with these chokes? Problems?
Longevity? Work well?
Thanks |

I don't remember the OD needed or thickness needed when I had my Merkel done.
I have had the Briley Thin Walls put in my 1620 and they are great. No problems at all and a fine job done by Briley.
Call them for info. They are great people to work with. |

I had briley put thin wall in my LC and they worked out just fine. I thought the barrels were two thin at the end. I had other well know smiths turn away from the job. I had them for 3 yrs now and have put a lot of shells thru the old girl and have been very happy. Bill |

I have Briley thin wall chokes in a 20 gauge Italian Ferlib; they have always worked well.
My Ruger Gold Label also has them and again they have worked very well. |

I had Briley thread the barrels and supply five choke tubes for my old Charles Daly BC Miroku 12 ga o/u and have been very pleased. Gun now is ok for steel and lead and is fine to shoot over my gwp with open chokes. Before it was choked mod/full and ok with clutzy flushing dogs or on ducks. Briley was great to deal with. |

Briley thins walls are great-the threads are shallow and wide for quick in and out; their T-wrench is the best going. I ordered a 2cnd barrel for my Rizzini Teutonic 16, had it made F/F so ther'd be plenty of steel for Briley to trim away. I have many target wins with that barrel. Dont know min. thickness but get them on the phone-real wizards, the best. Rizzy |
