Clover:

Since my dog is getting some age to her, it's time to get a new bird-sniffer worked out and ready to go. I picked her up on Saturday. I can't wait to get the yard training started, then get her on some pigeons.

Great looking pup. There is German Shorthair breeder up there in Wisconsin Sharp Shooter I think it is, outstanding NAVHDA lines. Good luck and have fun with the pup.

Ever heard the old southern expression "cuter than a speckled pup on a red wagon?"

Well one snoozing on the carpet in front of "dad's recliner" is pretty cute, too! Well done, you! Cool

Thanks.

I have heard really good things about Clyde Vetter and Sharp Shooter's Kennel, too. In fact, I believe he did a NAVHDA seminar in conjunction with my breeder last summer.

I've had great success with the dogs I've had from him, and 40 minutes away makes for an easy pickup of a pup, and a much easier drive home than across 4 states!

Now that is a nice looking pup and I bet it follows you from room to room. It sure knows where to lay it's head. Markings remind me of a male GSP I used to have that is no longer with me. I am down to two GSP and a English Setter.

Livertick-

Great looking Pup- Congrats. What kennel did you get your pup from? Probably a long shot, but I have a very similiar looking GSP that I picked up when I was stationed in WA. He and his littermates, sire, and other relatives, had a round patch on their back in the same spot. From your pics, clover seems to exhibit this same trait. Wondering if they share some genetics.

Good luck!

I grew up in Grand Rapids and lived in Traverse City and Marquette, but I have never heard of Alamo, MI. What part of state is Alamo located?
