You need to get the gun fitted. I just had mine fitted. I highly recommend it.
If you can't mount it consistently then patterning it is a waste of time.
Most shotguns off the shelf are too long for me. 14" or 13 7/8" is about right for me, it will vary somewhat depending on specific gun.
Then only guns that I have that have pads are my 10ga's |
