Who votes to change the name of the 16g. Society to The 16 Gauge Oppositional-Defiance Disorder Society? (I'm afraid the Diety is warming up a lighting bolt even as I'm typing ) |

I'm surprised at that diagnosis(not at it being applied to us, but that someone in this group knows about it.)--Are we in the same business? I like it BUT------------------- |

OK guys-this is RevDocs long-suffering wife and I just buried his no good lightning burnt up carcass in the back yard where the new setter pup is working hard on digging him up-not the sort of resurrection I'm interested in! And I found these funny two barrel guns that say Parker on the side that he had hidden-can I ship them to anybody? |

Hey Mrs. Revdoc, you can send the Parkers and any other 2 barrel guns to me but keep the old man buried. |

Heh, if not a lightning bolt then definitely sunstroke Doc. You have officially joined the list of Mad Dogs and Englishmen who have been certifiably blasted from standing around in the mid-day sun far far too long. *GRIN*
Lets just try that on for size again... the 16 G.O.D.D. society. Uh hunh...
"Hi, I'm Doc and I am a member of the 16 GODD society..." Definitely a one way ticket to the slammer.

Or a padded suite at the Rubber Room Society. Er, I think I can help the widow Revdoc with one of those Parkers, the one that says 16ga. on the barrel. That's ok ma'am, always there to help. 16GG. |

16gg,
You're too late. I already offered to help her out with ALL the guns with 2 barrels. LOL |

Don't I know who my friends are now! And I noticed no one seemed interested in taking my half-wit setter pup. Dr 16 gauge-where were you when I needed you brother?!? |

i was going to wait until the pup tired himself out playing with the body. He'd sleep well on the ride home. I'm nothing if not practical. |

Sorry, I already have 6 dogs, don't need another to feed. LOL
But there is always room for some new (old) SxS's. |

Well I just want to say that the outpouring of sympathy and all the offers to help the bereaved widow leave me speechless, all choked up-----------terrified, why it's a 16 gauge feeding frenzy------shame, SHAME!
Any Model 90's missus? |

Now there you go. One man's opportunity to do a kindness ( and help his gun collection grow) is another man's feeding frenzy. Some folks just refuse to look on the bright side. Jeez!
As for the pup, all I wanted was to let the little fella have one more chance to spend some quality time with his former owner and get some exercize too. Come on guys! You just have to think these things through. 16GG |
