I might have to think about a reloader.

TJC I wouldn't waste my time on a reloader if I were you. Too many moving parts you know. Besides don't you listen to the President, he says the economy needs stimulating.

Until now I just didn't have the time. It was easier to just buy the ammo and buy a fair amount when I did.
But since retirement is ony weeks away I think I'll have time to start making my own. |

Yeah but just think of the hassle of Hunshatt wanting to bum ammo off of you all of the time and then threatening to sue you cause you didn't put enough lead in his and he missed the only chance he will have in his whole lifetime of shooting one of those painted chickens you call pheasants back east.
Then there is all of the great advice on what loads are best, heavy and slow/light and fast, high chamber pressure/low chamber pressure, which wont work cause Bubba's wife's second cousin tried it and he couldn't kill a turkey at 80 yards, that you will get here and having to sift through all of the BS trying to get to the good stuff.
I don't know if you want to go through all of that or not.
By the way congratulations on the retirement. It is really great. |

Got seven flats of RGL's last year from Bass Pro at 2.99 a box. Those mule kickin' 1 oz er's are being turned into user friendly 3/4 oz dove, quail, and target loads. |

TB,
I won't have to worry about Huns bumming ammo. He gave up the 16 for those fancy 2 trigger Cole Beretta guns in 20ga.
As far as retirement, I'm looking forward to it. Give me about 18-24 months and I hope to be out of NJ too.
Only problem is I've got about 6-8 months of projects to do when I stop going to work in July. |

wingshooter,
I don't find the RGLs bad for recoil but either way enjoy your loads. As long as we are shooting, that's what counts.
In fact I'm heading out to burn up about 150rds of RGLs at the trap range this AM. |

What I didn't say abbout the seven flats at 2.99 was that it took about six months to get 'em, a few boxes at a time on my rain check. I too only get about two loadings per hull, but like you said, important that I get out and shoot; in hearty agreement would be those who've witnessed said activity.

TJ, do you think you can talk the manager into a group deal for some Merkels? |
