This one takes the cake, and if you happen to be driving along I-35 south of the Twin Cities, you need to stop at Cabela's in Owatonna MN.

German 16ga automatic, with a cylinder like a revolver. 5 chambers.

More normal stuff: They also have a pretty nice 16ga Sterlingworth, very early Savage gun, still had the smaller Philly forend. Tagged at $2400. They do deal, so never hurts to throw an offer their way.

Didn't even look at the price or the barrel length. Chambered for 2 1/2" shells, has a cheekpiece on the stock like a lot of German guns. I think they want a bunch of money because it's odd, but you could give them a call: 507-444-5131. In addition to the German gun and the Sterlingworth, they do have a neat little Lang 16 nonejector gun, cased, very light. Fairly plain Brit gun, but sweet handling. Asking something over $3K I believe. I think photos of that one are on their website.

Larry, I'll have to check out that oddball 16 at Cabelas. My mother-in-law lives about 15 miles from Owatonna, so I get over that way "plenty."

Note: My buddy Jason (you know him Larry) picked up a flat of Estate/Federal Gameloads for about $32.00 at the Cabelas at Praire du Chien, WI. These are the mild 1 oz-1165 fps loads that work well for clays or grouse/woodcock. I didn't see them last time I was in Owatonna, but now I'm watching for them!

Dave, the Owatonna store was pretty low on ammo. If they had anything other than Estate or Federal 12's by the flat at a decent price, I didn't see them.
