Wanted to buy- older single stage 16 gauge reloader (ideally seeking an older Pacific/Hornady model)
Gentleman, especially the more (ahem!) experienced, genteel members of our esteemed group:
We both know you still have an old, dusty blue Pacific reloading press sitting on the back of bench or up on a shelf in your basement/workshop. Yes, that one in 16 gauge that you have not used in years since you bought that new MEC. It is still resting back in that corner behind the metal cans of flake powder and next to the bags of old felt wads and over powder cards.
Yes, I know you might still need it someday…but I need it now. I feel the same way about my old woodworking magazines. And if I start right now, in my mid-forties, I might get half of my projects completed before I draw my last breath (if I quit my full time job and burn the honey- do list).
Anyway, sell your old single stage press to me. I will refurbish it, breathe life back into it and use it to load the aromatic paper hulls it was designed for. I assure you, it will go to a good home.
Please make me an offer (including shipping to 37204 if possible).
Thanks in advance,
Flytier
PS. While this is written rather tongue in cheek, it is a serious request and desire to purchase an older press. |

Not Bob, Dave. Sorry.
No one has an old press they want to sell? I scan flea-bay every week, but to no avail so far.

I have a 600 JR. & and a 700 Versamec I'm considering selling. Both have auto primer feeds and were working great the last time they were used about 5 years ago. We moved a few years ago, so still searching for some of the charge bars and chargebar inserts. |

Old16Ga,
Let me know if you find all the parts. If you want, just PM me with an offer. I may wind up buying a used MEC Jr. Purchasing one will probably guarantee an old Pacific or Texan coming on the market.
