Tom, that's closer to mine, but somewhat less elaborate, and the fences are definitely different. Also, because of the CC on that gun, I can't see the background really well. On mine, underneath the vine and leaf, there's total coverage of extremely fine scroll. Could be a change in engraving pattern on a later 25E. |

Tom, I had not run across that site. However, I don't think it will help us any, because it's about new guns, not old ones--and when they were making the old ones, they did have specified models. Worse yet, it's my understanding Francotte is now completely out of business (since about 2002) and isn't making the new ones any more either. |
