A new galazan fox is $11k ,$3,000 seems like a good price. Doug Turnbull will restore one to new condition for $3-4k. Taking that into consideration somebody will pay the price.

And hopefully the new RBL will be in 16 ga. at about the $3000+ mark. Now that will be a nice gun at a reasonable price.

I emailed and called Tony Galazan about a 16 gauge RBL.I asked how many orders he needed to make a 16 gauge. He said it wasn't a matter of how many just time. They are a small company and cannot keep up with the demand for the 20 gauge that they are already are tooled up for.He said he would not rule out a 16 but it didn't look good. I told him I would send the money now for an american made 16 sxs. I'm dreaming and drooling over the thought.

I know some people are leary of the Turkish guns, however, I would not hesitate to spend the money on this Kimber. I own one of their .45 ACP's and am very impressed with their quality. I have handled, not shot, their Valier II 20 ga. and the quality was VERY impressive!

Kimber makes an ok handgun. But if I'm going to spend that kind of $$ on a SxS it's going to be a Merkel before a Kimber. Smile

Now, if the RBL is avail in a year or so in 16 ga., I'd pony up the $$ for one. Especially if it's in the same price range as the current 20's with the options. Very Happy
