Well, I got the MEC Jr. Mark V press from Spolar but had to wait for BP to send an instruction manual.
The press has a universal charge bar made in Canada model C. On the left end is hash marks reading from right to left of 0 thru 25 and a dial on the end with 0-40 marks around it. On the right end, reading from left to right is hash marks from 0-20 with the end dial numbered 0-40.
So, say for instance I want to load 1 1/8 oz shot and 20 grains of powder; how do I set it?
I noticed on Ballistic Prod. site that an extended powder baffle comes with the charge bar. Is the baffle mandatory to use with the universal bar or is it just good to use?
Would the black 16 ga shells from Rem GL and TG loads be what is referred in data as Rem sp shells? Also, what are cheddite hulls?
What is your opinion of Ballistic Prod. 16 ga loading manual?
Thank you!
Dang, posted in the wrong forum! Moved it to the loading forum. |
