I've been refered to a friend of a friend that owns Tristar Sporting Arms in KC. They bring in Fausti Stephano from Brescia, Italy, in both SxS and OU. They have a higher end 16ga OU on a true 16 frame. Does anyone know anything about the guns?

I'm doing an article on Fausti Stefano as we speak, and I was unaware Tristar was importing them. I'll have to do some more checking. The only Fausti Stefano OU's I'm aware of that are imported are by Traditions Firearms (they have a model called "Real 16") and Marlin--of all things, an OU bearing the LC Smith name, which Marlin owns. Neither of those guns is especially high dollar. I had a chance to try out one of Traditions' Real 16's. Very nice wood, sharp looking gun. My main complaint was the weight. Over 7#. Sometimes just being built on a 16ga frame doesn't solve the problem.
