Plan to visit the National Classic Shotgun Festival in Chicago this May at the Northbrook Sports Club. We will offer some 16 gauge only events and we are giving away a 16 Gauge HeHaan game gun as a door prize. Only those shooting the event will be eligible. See link below

I note there have been 71 visitors to this notice.

Are you planning to drop by the club?

Were you able to access the program via the link provided?

Comments are welcome!

Best wishes

Hal.
I will be there and looking forward to it.
I am bringing my Westley 16 Hammer gun just for the occasion !
I have been to the web site several times and it looks real good.

I did send a lengthy e-mail a few weeks ago to the club ( got no reply) strongly suggesting they provide a nice name tag to wear. Even if it's the old cheesy "Hello my name is" sticker. I made the comment that so many of us have chatted on line but have never met and I would hate the thought that I would miss the chance to say hello to someone just because I did not know who they were to say hello.
This happened at the Louisville Gun show last month. Several PGCA members were there but many of us were unaware.

Thanks,
Brad

Fin-
Good to hear the link worked, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Brad-
Name tages are a good idea. They are giving competitor passes with but I never considered leaving a blank line for a name. Perhaps we could consider this for next year--maybe something like employee tags with a pocket clip?

Be sure to look me up! I will be running the skeet operations.

I found this list of vendors on another website-all coming to Chicago this May.

"The Platinum sponsors are: Galazan arms, Promatic traps, and Porsche( yes Porsche). How about Holland and Holland, Famars including the beautiful Christina Abbiatico,Kimber, Fieldsport, with the great Spanish guns represented by Bryan Bilinski, E.A.R. Krieghoff, Caesar Guerini and Merkel represented by Steve Popovich, the legendary stockmaker Bob James from Montana Long Guns, Jack Jansma's wingshooting adventures, JackPuglisi, F.E.I. guncases, Gunnerman Books( The Best!) Kolar Arms, Randolph Ranger, the finest Safari jewelry by Ledjaji, Hugh Lomas, the finest gunsmiths on Earth, Dennis Potter and Steve Downes. I forgot to mention David Trevallion, and sponsors Gunsafe, shells by Winchester and B and P( We'll have for sale their 2/5/8 inch subsonic load) and another sponsor is LaPorte traps.
Several other vendors have not yet committed, so I will add them at the right time.

In addition we will have a separate tent with custom knives by the New York Custom Knife Show.

Catering will be provided by the World Famous Austins, so bring your appetite.

Tom Veach from Ohio will be throwing Helice, and flurries and Make the Break will also be available."
