Well guys, I've joined your gang. I know a few of you already: Wingshooter, Brent, Rocky, and a few of the guys in Texas as we've gone sporting clays several times together. You might better recognize me as H.H. Hipshot (Jm Wooten)'s oldest son Nathan.
So, just a howdy from me finally. Dad suggested that I was only allowed 2 outings with the group as a guest and that I was required to join before any more outings.
Everyone have a great evening and a safe 4th. |

Thanks for the welcome!
Well, unfortunately, no 16's in my collection. I have a very nice Fox Model B in 12, and a great little Savage .410 single shot. I get to borrow my dad's, from time to time, when he's not looking. He has a browning pump and several others. He'll see this post and be happy to list his 16's I'm sure.
I'm planning on my first 16 being the limited edition Browning 16 ga shooter's society gun. Apparently my joining entered me in the drawing. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. (Wayne's World anyone?) |

Howdy DCB,
Welcome, and good luck!
Now go bug your brother to join. He keeps forgetting.
Happy trails,
HHH |

Hey Postoak. Dad reminded me of your 'other' name. I recognized 'postoak' though.
So, thanks again, Rocky for the welcome. Look forward to the next outing! |

Depending on the date, I would like to attend this one, if it's ok with the rest. I have several 16's I can bring. |

Skeettx, my brother, I'm afraid your a mite far for us,but what sort of venues do you have there? We wouldn't be adverse to somewhere different within a couple of hours drive.
Nathan, welcome! You just might win that Society gun!If you don't , I can always find a 16 for you to buy.
We are always glad to welcome new shooters! New faces please us no end! We've had folks as far away as West Monroe ,LA come to our shoots. We always make new friends and have a bang up time. I'm getting ready to talk to postoak today, so we'll announce a date soon. |

Hello,
I understand, we here in Amarillo, are closer to THREE other state capitals than we are to our own :>)). We have Skeet, Trap, 5 Stand, All within 15 minutes of my house.
West Monroe, La ?? I went to college for my BS in Ruston at Louisiana Polytechnic Institute,
now known as Lousiana Tech University. And I lived in Monroe until I was commissioned in the
Air Force upon graduation 27 May 1971.
Enjoy the day, Mike |

XVI'er, Postoak, dcbonecrusher, and others,
I plan on making every effort to attend this shoot. I wanted to attend the last one but those scheduling conflicts, well just can't control them.
I don't shoot any of the regulation clay courses. My shooting is pretty much confined to dove and very informal pasture clays, but I do love to shoot.
I don't know how many shooters you are trying to get, but I can try to bring some with me, if you want.
Take care,
Milton |
