Had to make a new thread so no one misses this one See the post by brdhnt in 'Wal-Mart & 16g shells' thread. Let's spread the word and see if this works in other cities (folks ARE awful nice in Lubbock ) I'm heading to K-Mart tomorrow. |

Unfortunately, K-Mart pulled out of some markets in their bankruptcy a couple of years ago, and Houston is one of those markets. |

I still won't shop at K-mart because of their one time anti gun spokesperson Rosie! |

Well it's BIG K (Mart) now and a local one had 2 SuperX 1oz 6s (locked up?!) but expects 8s in the fall. |

Based on these posts I took a little road trip over lunch and visisted the two KMarts in Wichita that haven't been driven out by the evil empire of Wally World. I found Winny 1oz. Super X 16's, (2 boxes of 8's and 6 of 6's) on open shelves at one location; 4 (I think) boxes of 6's behind glass at the other. All were $4.19 per box. Also found a half-dozen boxes of 2-1/2" .410's at the second location. Don't know the price; they weren't plainly marked, and not a single employee approached me, even when I went behind the counter to squint through the glass! Plus they were 6's, which didn't thrill me.
I may go back and pick up a few after I check the stock at home. Shoulda bought the 8's anyway!
KMart; whoda thunk it?

I stopped by the closest K-Mart store yesterday to check it out. Behind a small, locked glass cabinet they had about 20 boxes of 20ga. Win., 3 boxes of 20ga. slugs and 1 forlone box of .410 ga. No 16's and not even any 12's!
There were about 10 people in the store and 6 of those were in the return line!
They should have been playing "Taps" on the intercom.
