Curious why you didn't just list it here...probably would have sold in a flash and no auction fees?

I,m not a dealer and his fees are about the same as if I shipped it through a dealer. The dealers don,t this for free. I don,t like gunshows and gunshops say I,ll give you $150 for that real nice 16ga. M-37,nobody wants that relic and 16ga. Hum what about us??? I thought it was the best way to sell it . Maybe I should have kept it,but I need to pay for my last purchase. I still have a few nice ones to keep.

You don't need to be a dealer to ship the gun, the dealer (or C&R collector if applicable) is required on the receiving end.The buyer has to have the FFL or have his dealer receive the gun.He sends you funds and a signed copy of the FFL where gun is going.

That is very true. Federal law allows you to ship guns to any FFL holder upon receipt of a signed copy of his FFL. Have the buyer pay the shipping and your transaction is fee-free. Good to know. Wink

fowler,

You were on Shotgunworld drumming up interest on this gun as if you did not know who it belonged to. You asking what fair prices were as if you were interested in buying it. Talked about healing up & saving up money for the next gun to come along. Are you playing games on both sites??

I must admit, I also read those posts. Assumed it was a different "Fowler", didn't think anyone would do something so obvious. What's up, Fowler? Was that you?

THe first and last time for anymore Auctions of guns. As noted it is not needed to sell a gun. And a risky business if it sells below what its worth. I do not and will not have any more to do with them.
