Have any of you read the article in shooting sportsman on the 28-16ga.
I just got mine and seems Tom Roster did't do the 16 any big favors.
Ik guess he's one of them that needs a cannon to down birds. I don't care how light you make a cannon its still a cannon.
I have never thought anything bigger than a 16 was very sportsmanship. If I was going to jump down a gauge it would be the 28.
The only time I shoot a 12 is on trap and many of times I shoot the 16 instead and I can't tell much difference in my scores.
Thats all I got to say about that. |

I'm with you. In fact I'm trying to build my lc project 16 into the ultimate quail 28. full/full screwins and 5/8loads, 2 1/2 lp stuff. anyone have a setup for that? Waiting to hear back from the 16reloader guys |

hunshatt--I have been using 3/4 oz loads at the club for skeet lately.Shot a 96/100 tonight, the misses were my fault.I have been using spacers to take up the space in a Remington hull. |
