Hey Brad6260, Dave M, Parker Trojan-donchathink it's time to stand up proudly and take the heat for shootin' a Parker gun???
We've got a Sterlingworth Society, Sissy-tori Society, the Merkel Maniacs, the 'Worshipful Society of M-12s', and Sweet Sixteeners. There are even guys that run labs and willing to admit it

And some of those guys are cross overs between 2-3 different groups. |

Rev, I'm sad to say I belong to all 5 of those groups!!
Which means either I can't make up my mind, or... I've become a middle of the road moderate
Oh, the shame....

How about a cheap a$$ Savage Society. I do love those ugly BSE's. They feel right and balance well for me.
AND I DO run Labs! In fact, pointing Labs no less!!!!!

Great idea XVI! I'll nominate Fin for El Presidente-I think he's got 3 or 4. Can I join too if my Sterly is a Savage? |

I do stand proud, two Labs by my side and Parker in hand.
Now here's an interesting twist for you boys to chew on.
The main reason I do not have a Sterlingworth is that as many of you know I am a huge fan of the NID Ithaca's which I would prefer to carry over the Sterlingworth and feel the NID's are superior in many way's.
So there's the first shot. Compare a grade 1 or 2 NID to the Sterlingworth both sell for about the same money and ....well sign me up as the Pres. of the NID Putz society.

Still looking for info on the insterts.
Drew, I get run around by pretty much everyone, the g-friend, Beau, the stupid lab, the guys of limited ablities that work for me, even Tjc's girls run me around.
Why am I still at the office when there are chores to get done????? |

Drew, I was going to start a Parker Society a couple weeks ago, but figured you'd give me such a razzing about it, I declined. I'm proud of my Parkers!, and I have a 16 Elsie hammer gun in my stable. I just don't have the money to buy all the Great American SxS's, so I'll stick with Parker. Even though they are the most Beautifull, well made, great handling, straight shooting, and just plain ole' fun to hold gun around. There, that should get this thread going.
Oh, I should add, that I'm a Setter guy all the way. |

Howdy the forum,
Well, I have a Win M12 and an Ithaca 37 in 16ga, so guess I have a split personality.
My wife has a good-for-nothing Lab out in the back yard, so maybe I would qualify for that group, too.
Would like to get a NID if I could find a decent shooter at a decent price.

You're lucky The Girls live outside and didn't read that. They'd be pissed.
Besides, knowing where your dog is by beeper is better than locating it by the flushing pheasants out in front.
