Just a note for comment, Stoger is offering their Condor (over/under) model in 16 gauge for about $350.00. It has fixed chokes IC andM with a single trigger. An entry gun yes but don't you think it could be a lot of fun for just a few buckos.. Just a thought, this is a new product brought in by the Benelli group.

Recently had an opportunity to shoot a Stoeger 12 ga sxs (to tell the truth, I grabbed my M37 16 ga and a box of 20 ga shells Embarassed ). Another shooter was kind enough to offer the use of the Stoeger for a round of trap. I could not hit a thing with it, which may be more a reflection of my shooting than the gun pointing. Also, as I was shooting, noticed a screw in the trigger guard was loose, and this was one of the first times the gun had been shot.

I chose to buy the Remington Spartan 310 OU, in 16 gauge. Made by Baikal, imported from Russia. About $150 more, but I shoot well with it (for me Rolling Eyes ), and it has four choke tubes, if that matters to you.

Maybe there needs to be a new 16 Gauge Society - the I Can Afford The Thing Society. Lets see, that would be ICATT Laughing Rev, got a better name Question

There's room for EVERYBODY on this ark (well-maybe not 16GG when starts 'X-dressing to the gun' Shocked ) We even let LAB GUYS in. Laughing
How about the 16g Starter Society-Stoeger and Spartan chapters?
Would only encourage those joining in this delightful obsession to avoid a 16g made on a 12g frame-sorta missing the essence of what this is all about.
Another beautiful morning here in paradise also-a blessed Easter to all and take a moment to thank the Diety for this world He made!

Could have figured you for a Dodge man. Anyone that has a lab and a gun named after a big bird. Wink

I'm strictly a Ford man myself. I kinda like running with the best. Very Happy

i really like the way everyone agrees that the quality is not much to write home about ... But I must admit for at least for a little while there was some activity reacting on a unlikely purchase. Sparky
No I didn't buy one but I did find a Mod 37 in 85 to 90 percent.. That made its way into the safe. It is always fun to look.

And Beau the Lab is cool in my book. He likes steaks as much as I do. Very Happy
