Just a note: I was wearing my long-sleeved Society tee early this spring and a nice young lady asked me what the I-6 Georgia society was. She didn't know what a wood cock was, either.

That's hilarious!
I was wearing one of my hats to dinner one night at Applebees and the waiter commented to me that he had a 16ga shotgun that was handed down by his grandfather. We got to talking guns and he mentioned he had a hard time finding 16ga ammo. I informed him that I worked at a gun shop and sold quite a few 16ga shells. Told him where the store was and a week later he came in to get some ammo and brought his gun with him. It was an absolutely lovely German "Guild" SxS in cherry condition. I had to wipe the drool off of it when I handed it back to him. He's become somewhat of a regular customer just because of a 16ga Society hat. Pretty cool.
Anyway, I realize colored shirts would be a rather costly endeavor but I was just curious if I was the only one who would be interested. Sweatshirts would be nice too but I realize I'm REALLY going out on a limb there! |

How about a closeout special on the old goods to finance some new ones? |

I think a pocket Tee with the 16ga Society on the front and hunting scene on the back would be popular. Sepia print of John Browning, Ansley Fox, and Dan Lefever coming back from a hunt with a few birds in hand. Charles Parker and Baker could be in there too?
My first thought was they should all be playing poker, but maybe that one has been over done.
Heather or grey would be fine with me. |

Might be difficult to decide what gun J.M. Browning would have with him... |

A few colors would be nice. I find that when I get a shirt in white I manage to spot it quite fast.
Dickies makes a T with a pocket for ten bucks. They are available in different colors and they wear well as they are a good product. they are available in dofferent colors as well. Don't know if a shirt maker would let you do that though.
A pre-payment is a good idea.

I usually stick to caps because of my size. The shirts I see are up to 2X and I wear a 3X. If money is no object tho a colored shirt with a pocket would be nice. |

Why a 16 gauge Model 97, of course! |

I agree that white is problematic. Since we're just offering suggestions here, a short and long sleeved Tshirt (in hunter orange and other colors), and maybe even a simple collared twill or canvas shooting shirt, with the 16ga logo and a trio of upland bird silhouettes arranged in a line would be very cool. Say, a pheasant, a grouse, and a quail. A chukar would be awesome too!
All that said, the existing shirts are very nice also. I agree that perhaps just offering them at a closeout would be a great way to move some. |

I am with Dan short and long sleeve logo front pocket and large logo on back of shirt. Also need a purple shirt for Mike Cambell. A faded denim blue and rustic faded brown would suite my taste but don't forget purple for the tried and true 16er's. |

Why the clamour for another cheap t-shirt?
A purple shirt with a tan belt might make one look like a giant Federal hull.
I still vote for a white polo shirt with a small 16 Gauge Society logo. |

Purple is an excellent idea. Count me in for a at least three.
