There is a nice looking, gently used Citori White Lightning 16/28 on Gunbroker. Current bid is $1,304.66. Just under 2hours left on the auction.

I was looking to grab this one, but plans have changed.

Hope I don't end up regretting passing on that one. That $1,300 just paid for building a new custom rear axle for my Jeep. I will continue looking, possibly holding out for the new run of Citori's later this year.

Nossman, there are plenty of good used ones out here. Just be patient. Most of the ones I've seen are in very clean shape mechanically.

Most 16 ga. Citori models get a minimum of use. They are a bit hard on the shoulder for skeet and trap if they are not reloaded for. 3/4 ounce and 7/8 ounce, 1100 FPS target loads are much more pleasant to shoot, but atre not available at reasonable prices or in large quantities.

Quite a few folks will buy a Citori, shoot it a few times, then trade it for a twenty because it kicks with one ounce hunting loads at the range. Keep this in mind when you are looking for one. You are often dealing with someone who does not care for the gun and will not reload for it. Like i said, be patient and look for the right deal. They are out there. Then reload light loads for it, and you will love the way it shoots targets just fine.
