Well, I have a couple thousand Cheddite hulls, and only a few hundred Remington hulls. I was trying to work up a low pressure load using the Cheddite hull and the R-16 wad. Won't work unless I use a nitro card.
Because The Cheddite hulls are .675" I.D.
The Remington R-16 wad is .635" O.D.
What a pain in the butt that is. Think I'll stick with the SG-16 wad from BP.
I'm giving you guys first choice on these wads, then they're going on E-bay.

I'm not all that familiar with Cheddite hulls. However, with that big an I.Dia., those shell walls must be paper thin. These Cheddite hulls can't be lasting too long as far as relooading life. The stretch facter has to figure in. I'm not too certain I'd trust them for more than one or at most, two loads. Even the Federal and Fiocchi case walls are thicker than these Cheddites. Their I.Dia run at .650-.660. The Remington wads work fine in them too.

Unless you are getting powder migration, do not worry about it. If you are getting migration, then use a bulky powder like Unique and the powder will bind, no more migration.

I have loaded several thousand 20 ga. wads in 16 ga. hulls, AA and Rem. With bulky powder, those wads will work fine
