Just want to boast a little. Today I entered the Sunshine State Shooting Games skeet tournament. I took the bronze medal in the senior division.
I shot my 16 ga DeHaan and of course I had the only 16. It was very windy and the targets were very erratic. All of my Florida dove hunting experience paid off.

Good show for the 16ga. Have you emailed Mark DeHaan? I bet he would be pleased.
Were you shooting in a 12ga event?
congratulations..... |

What load were you using?I have been experimenting with 3/4 and 7/8 oz loads lately with excellent results. |

I guess I should e-mail Mark DeHaan.
My load was 7/8 ounce of #8's in the Winchester Super X hull, Winchester primer, BP sporting wad w/ X spreader insert, and 20.2 grains of Unique.
The gun has fixed IC and Mod chokes.
They have no gauge divisions as they do in registered skeet. It was an all gauge event. |
