Who Made the Larouna shotgun. I had one several years ago and it seemed they all had very fine wood. Mine was a o/u with double triggers which was kinda neat because you could use the front trigger for the top barrel on the first pull and bottom barrel by pulling again. And reverse on the back trigger. I only know of one around this area. I think they also made a sxs. Any one know of them. Bill

More interesting old Charles Daly stuff. Found an ad in the Sept 67' Field & Stream (same grey haired guy) listing 7 grades of O/U guns AND the "Empire Grade, a new Daly Double-12, 16 and 20 gauge. $239."
It appears that the SxS was introduced then about 67'

I don't think the Empire doubles were made by Miroku, but by a Belgian maker or possibly an Italian or Spanish maker. They also might have been old stock being sold at clearence prices. To the best of my knowledge, Miroku has only made the A-5 auto and the Citori/Miroku O/U in 16 gauge. They have made O/U 16 ga. guns under their own name for the European market in very limited quantities prior to 1987.Since that time, the 16 ga. Citori has been a Browning exclusive. They are the only Japanese maker to manufacture a mass produced 16 ga. gun.

Thanks 16gg-would love to get my hands on one and check it out. I don't recall seeing one at any gun shows in the last 20 yrs.
And old16-I'm pretty sure the Lauronas made in the 90's were Spanish but I can't remember the maker.
