Hi all.... Saw one of the new 16 ga ringnecks at the Wichita
Gander Mtn, on Monday. I was kind of disapointed when I
picked it up. It doesnt seem to balance like my older 16s.
I have a Geco and a Roberts that bit me in the first place.
they just seem to fly into place and fit perfect every time.
Sleek is the term that comes to mind. Th e CZ just isnt.
the CZ felt stock heavy to me , but the stupid trigger gaurd\
anti theft device was still attached and may have contributed to
my bad impression.
Has anyone else gotten the same impression from them?
They had a 12 for $799, a 20 for $999, and the 16 was $1049.
ps.
I just found this group and like it very much.
I have many questions that I will ask since I just got
bitten by the 16 bug.
Thanks in advance |

I hope they got in some shells to shoot in them too ! Not a real good selection of 16's when I was last there!
Welcome to the site, and to 16's!! |

I just can't get excited over the CZ Huglu's. The bad quality rep Huglu suffers turns me off. At this point I would rather have the promised Ithaca 16 than a Huglu anything. |

Well, of course I had to run right down to Gander and check 'em out. Pretty much agree with PPat; they felt heavy to me too, but hard to tell with the bungee cord attached! Don't care much for the barrel swelling at the muzzle for the chokes tubes on the 12 and the 28; in that regard the 16 sure looks better. Not a bad looking gun, though, and a lot of guys who own them love 'em according to what I read. Are the 16's typically more expensive? Didn't think they were when I talked to DeHann.
Did not appear that they got in any additional 16ga shotshells! |

I agree they sure are pretty, that is what first caught my eye.
I think I got the last couple of cases of Fiocchi light loads.
just a few loose boxes left. |

PP and Fin: Keep an eye on Gander Mtn for me. If they get a bunch of 16g loads in, I can stop on my way to KC (or after S. Dakota toward Montezuma and the 16ers hunt) thanks brothers.
Drew
PS: If they get a sweet 20g. Sterly to go with my 16 & 12, FIN KEEP YOUR DIRTY FINGERS OFF OF IT TIL I GET THERE . |

Rev,
A sweet 20ga Sterlingworth is toast, my man, brother or not. 'Course, from what I've seen of Gander's used gun pricing, you couldn't afford it anyway !

I bought a new 16 gauge from DeHaan for $400.00 less than the price mentioned by a previous poster--That would buy a lot of practice ammo! |
