Several people have said that the Kent UU game shells in size 6 are actualy 5.5. Does anyone know if their size 7 1/2 is also over size or not?

Larry,
I dissected a Kent Ultimate Upland 7.5 shot load and a 6 shot load last fall and found that each shell contained 1.04 oz of shot. The pellet count for the 7.5 shot was 353, and the 6 shot load had a pellet count of 224. That puts both of them quite close to nominal shot counts for US sizes. Both shells were purchased within the last year or two.
