Those are the loads listed for the 2-3/4" hulls.

However, when I tried to use Universal in these loads I had to add 28Ga 0.125" cards in the WAA16 shot cup to get enough volume to crimp; and even then it was pretty deep. You might want to give these a try in the 2-1/2" hull and see how they fit.

Hull length won't matter, in fact might help with the crimping?

22 grains of universal with a 1 oz load in a WAA16 wad will have to be roll crimped if used in a 2 1/2" hull. I've used this load and all you have to do is adjust the pre crimp in a 2 3/4" hull. The same thing with the 800X load.

OK
Let me see if I understand your question

You have RST 2 1/2 empties and you are wanting to know what wads, etc to make more 2 1/2 ammo. Is this correct?

You have studied this below ? Credit goes to 310spr !!!

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0At1GjTxK0YbudHdQdEUtLWJwbVNyZVNudVF0MGk2WFE&gid=12

This lists wads, etc

Now they will not be as soft as RST ammo

Are what you looking for SOFT loads or just loads??

Mike
