TJC, that one post wandered back and forth over my hackle-raising line... Confused Twisted Evil

I'm with ya on the SXS, if Browning came out with a 16 ga Citori BSS I'd be ecstatic, and probably divorced...but a German gun only catches my eye, not my heart. If I did decide to contribute to the EU gun trade it would probably be a Basque gun. But you're right, gotta have 2 barrels.

As to the ugly dog, it sounds like you took care of that yourself, but I don't think any dog is pretty that close to the ugly end Razz . You might try letting go of the check cord... Wink

As to vegetables, I'd rather use the new Mossberg as a bean pole than a Sterly, but I'm just glad Mr. MacIntosh didn't pick Ithaca to endorse. Those Sterly's seem a bit overpriced, especially when buried beneath red fruits.

...Incoming! Taking cover... Twisted Evil

Well, now that were meandering way off topic. I'm looking at a areietta 570 5pin sidelock in 20. Nice enough gun a smidgen pricey for me. the other is a Gruella 7pin sidelock in 16 , stunning wood 29" barrels, close to WAY out of my price point, might have the sell one of the pheasent killin laser beams to get it into the safe, as well as reunorder a american gun, in a gaauge other thatn 16 that has yet to be produced or delivered.

What cha think?? the 20 that I don't have to sell anything to get, or the one that I'll have to do a safe cleaning to afford??

MFG, again I must beg your forgiveness, I completely missed your post. (dont want you to get a Fin complex)(who started that fin thing anyhow?? was it rev?) You are correct, given thier choice, I should give them slack, and the rev should give them counceling and tjc should give them a get out of jail free card....... All depends on what you like to eat and whether or not you are married and want to stay same... Wink

Ever hear of using the right tool, the right way, at the right time, for the right job? Sheesh, talk about OO fixation. I like OO, 8, and just plain O guns. It depends on how, when, and where.

Thuddd, what in hell are you slurping from your coffee warmer? Oh! Never mind. Rolling Eyes Just make sure you ain't taking in another Spanish orphan. They can be very high maintainance. Laughing The Germans screw you up front but the guns do hold up well. The Spaniards get you both ways. The guns are pricey and the parts and service to keep them working are too. I can't Say how Seniorene Citronella Citolli is going to treat me in the long run, but she's been a good girl so far. If you buy the 20, at least you can use the 16 ga. inserts Rev sent you. Cool

Huns, I think you should go for the more expensive one and sell the 1620 to me at a very reduced rate so I can cancell the one I ordered at full rate. You know us public servants don't have the $$ you private industry guys do. Wink

Citori 16,
Calm down there brother. Just stating facts and opinions as I see them. LOL
Unfortunately, see above to Huns, us public servant types can't afford much more than the Merkels. I'd love to look at others but I can't even go to the upper end Merkels. I gotta eat ya know. Wink
As long as there are 2 barrels. LOL

Hey, I gotta ask this. How do you put a bigger shell in a smaller hole? 16 inserts for a 20? I don't get it. Confused

Shezzzzzzz, I'm really not smart enough to xplain how the 20-16 adapter works. Best thing to do is call the guys at Briely. I guess thats were Rev got these from. I think the guy at tech support's name is Pete. Ask him, I'm sure he'd do a much better job than I at giveing you a proper explaination.

I'd go easy there TJ. If Thuddd's holding 16 into 20 miracle inserts from the Rev, you might be in line for getting your own rump steaks broiled via one of the Big Guy's famous bolts. I'm not real religious, but I'm not one to take risks either. Besides, the Rev ain't around to intercede just now. Wink Laughing
