poker,
Where are you located in Pa? How close to the NJ border off of either Rt 80 or 78? I may be interested.

Anyone know if the Peters Victors shells are plastic or paper hulls?
Thanks

I looked at them friday before the auction I bid 2 to 3 bucks a box. the super x were the only thing I wanted. The peters were 1 oz of #5 in maroon plastic shells. The remington power piston were 1 1/8 #4 plastic shells couldn't figue out what I'd use 25 boxes of them for. I was hoping for some winchester cf loaded shells. I figued they would end up on this page. |

pudelpointer,
I was looking to get them to just shoot in the field as I use 4's and 5's for pheasants.
As I read the post, there were 7 boxes of Rems and 24 boxes of the Peters plus the others. All good bird rds or just plain old informal clay bird shooting.
But it isn't going to work for me. |

The remington #4's there was atleast 25 boxes. They would work fine for pheasants. there were maybe 10 boxes of super X 1oz and 1 1/8 oz # 6's
they were the ones I wanted. The peters were 1 oz # 5's they would work for pheasants and chuckers inside 25 yards ther was maybe 20 box's of them. I would have bought everything and gave them to you at cost if I knew I could get rid of all those 4' and 5's. I load all my own hunting loads so I was only interested it what kind of hulls they were. I just put in an absentee bid so I didn't have to stand around there all day. Went fishing and shooting instead. |

Yea, I wish you knew too. I would have taken them just because. I don't reload the 16 and just throw my hulls away. You should see the guys at the trap range when they see all those Rem Game load hulls and they think they are 12's. Then all you hear is, "Ahhh, 16 ga." |

Save the empty's for me I will pay the postage and load a few box's for you. We could shoot some were in between allentown or something. I had to throw away some fiocchi hulls over the weekend because of splitting and it made me feel like a criminal to throw away 16's. I might even buy you a beer or 2 for those empty's. |
