I will be in Albuquerque later this week on business and will have some time to look at guns and shop for 16 ga. shells. Where's the best price on #8 loads?
Any good gunshops I should visit?
Thanks in advance for your information.

Terry,
There's not much to find here in 16 gauge shells. The Big 5 sporting goods stores often have a decent price on Remington Game loads (~$5/box). You can sometimes find Winchester game loads at the K Mart stores. There is a Sportsman's Warehouse in town, but their 16 gauge stock is terrible.
Two gunshops really worth visiting are Charlie's Sporting Goods on Menaul and Ron Peterson's on Central (Route 66). Both places have very good reputations and have been around a long time. Many loyal customers.

Thanks Mike!
16 guage shells are much cheaper in Denver. Bass Pro Shops has the Remington (Sport loads??) at $3.69. I got 10 flats a couple of weeks ago but I have too many friends that shoot a 16...
I had to call ahead so they could collect/order in the 8s I wanted. The clerk told me that was their regular price. Gotta get back to Denver...
