I grew up in Willmar. Still connected to the state because of family.

Sportsman16, I'm a native Minnesotan and life-long resident. |

I will fess up to being a Minnesotan, and spending the very great majority of my hunting time here in the state. I will respectfully decline any hunting that involves friends not of my choosing, or, those not kin to me. Call it a problem related to some of the folks who hired me as a hunting guide when I was younger.
We are blessed to live in the state we do.
Best,
Ted |

Not yet, but by next year I'll be a Minnesotan. Will look forward to the 2nd annual event. |

Aww Jeeze! You betcha! Maybees afterwards we could all go down to the local waterhole for some deep fried Walleye and some ice cold Grainbelts!
Is there anything to hunt in Minnesota besides Vikings?

I'm a native of your neighboring state to the south. Have fond memories of visiting Uncle Hilmer (ya sure, you betcha!) and Aunt Edith up there when I was a kid, not to mention fishing.
Just want to let you know that if you hear any rumors of pheasants down here in Iowa this coming season, they're being spread by South Dakota residents trying to re-direct the hordes of nonresident hunters. Ringnecks have all migrated to the Dakotas. I saw the last one leave Iowa last February, I think. |

Larry:
You know what flows downstream!! It isn't all mud in the muddy Mississippi.
Did you get your passport renewed for coming north this fall?
Good luck,
Mike |

Mike, do the Gophers come south this fall, or do the Hawkeyes go north? In either case, I think those football Gophers would be well advised to stay in their holes. |
