i bought the last 6 boxes of rem 1oz game loads in 7 1/2 shot that fleet farm carries 2 weeks ago.
just as a test, i am going to monitor them and see how long it takes them to order more without asking them to do so.
i know i can't keep others from asking for that ammo, so this test is far from scientific. |

I bought some Win. game loads in 8's for 3.79 a box at big R's Sunday. They also had 7-1/2's for 3.89. Rem. was the same price.
I find the game load hull very easy to load. |

most likely you are correct hoa. there are about 2 flats or better on the shelf of #6 shot with about an inch of dust on them, which does the 16 target shooter no good. try explaining to a store mgr that you can use light game loads in lieu of "target loads" especially in 16 ga and the blank stares really come out.....but we have been down this road already on another thread. |

870-you hit it on the head--Here in Illinois we have Rural King stores. The guy what orders ammo has no more idea of shot sizes than tire sizes. He once told me to sub 12 's in my 16---They just kick a little more he said--I walked over to the store manager and said something to him.I have to special order and prepay a month ahead to get my 16's in 8 shot($34.19) a flat With the gunclubs they give good service and are good for many a reload--I still have about 2000 of the Winchester AA 16's |

I bought some of the same #8-- 16 Rem. Game loads as OLD16 at Big R; also Rural King has them for $3.79, sometimes on sale for a little less.... |

$34.19 a flat ?? for 8 shot ?.......hell i would order about 6 flats at a time!
fleet farm carries NO 16-1OZ #8 just 71/2 and 6 in 1oz or fed 11/8 high brass 4&6 shot.
if i want 8 shot i would have to go to gander mountain for win game loads 1oz $5.99 A BLEEPING BOX!!!!!!! or order fiocchi from bpi......even more w/shipping...i still haven't checked out the new dick's sporting goods yet.
the best mail order price i have found is bass pro shops.
thus.......the reloading press was born. aaaaaammmmmmeeeeennnn! |
