Does anyone have experience loading Nitro 100 in the Remington or Federal plastic shell? Will be loading 1 ounce loads. I must have 12 pounds of this Nitro and have no Universal [previous powder used] left. |

The only one I could find is :
Fed. 2-3/4" hull
CCI-209 primer
15 grns. Nitro 100
SG-16 wad
1 oz. lead shot
10,433 PSI @ 1096 FPS |

Does not look like Nitro 100 is very 16 gauge friendly. That is a lot of pressure for a sub 1100 fps load.
Hal I would go with HS6, Solo 1250 or Unique for a 1 ounce load and Solo 1250 or Unique for a 7/8th ounce load. |

I won 12 lbs of Nitro 100 and am trying to find a good use for it. Guess I will explore 12 gauge options as I thought the published loads were higher pressure as well.
Thanks |
