One year ago I owned two shotguns. My old 1911 Stevens 520 16 gauge pheasant gun and my newly acquired A5 16 gauge. After I purchased it, I discovered my A5 was actually an unmarked Sweet Sixteen. That led to a hobby of searching for buried gold...triggers. A year later I own 12 shotguns. Two very rare Sweet Sixteen. One is the first and only known to exist 1936 test market Sweet Sixteen. The other is another first generation 3 Shot Sweet Sixteen. I discussed both guns with Glen Jensen and HM Shirley. Neither has ever seen one. These two "first generation" Sweet Sixteen have three secrets unique to the first generation Sweet Sixteen. I also found a very, very, very, early 1946 unmarked Light Twelve. The Light Twelve came out in 1947. Each of my 12 guns are what I consider buried treasure. Most were harvested from pawn shops. A couple came from dealers the rest were found online. All were manufactured before 1948. I plan to donate them all to be sold for a church counseling program fundraiser.

The only gun prophet I know about is "John the Browning".

He maketh the guns that maketh birds lie down in green pastures, corn fields, wood lots, etc. Very Happy
