I cast a vote for rabbits and squirrels.
I do hunt upland birds with mine BUT, here in Ohio, the pheasants are released by the ODNR and grouse are few and far between . I haven't heard a quail in decades and haven't seen one since the 70's.
The last grouse I saw kick up was 18 yrs ago, though there was a report of one being seen locally here on Nov 1st by some folks out with their beagles.
One of the employees at Dan's Hunting Clothes told me they have a nesting pair on property in Coshocton Cty. |

Doug;
I did not mean to offend.
If I picked "most," it would have to be clays.

I voted "all of the above" before squirrels , rabbits and turkeys were there , but go ahead and apply my vote to the squirrels and rabbits column . Turkeys , not so much , never have enjoyed the taste of wild turkeys . |

I voted upland game. I could go with all of the above but I don't hunt waterfowl.
Yesterday I used a 16 while hunting the King.

I chose uplands, but in reality I use a 16 for everthing listed, but waterfowl squirrels and rabbits.
I bagged my fall turkey a few weeks back with a full choke Rem 11 16 ga with some handloaded #5's. |

I don't hunt at all. I am, however, an avid clay shooter and for some reason that I haven't figured out yet, I love shooting skeet with 16 gauge. I have several 16 gauge guns for clays, but my favorite skeet gun in 16 is a 1948 Ithaca Special Skeet. |

I chose all of the above , but also use the 16ga for Turkey hunting , small game (Squirrels only ) and deer with buckshot loads that are hand loaded. Different guns but the 16ga is the gauge I use 99% of the time . |

Was not a choice, but I like the 16 for both upland and clays. |
