...vintager loads with a "Bio Wad" from Poly-Wad.

Got a flier from Poly-Wad several days ago and noticed this new offering. I called and talked to the owner about them. He said the 16 gauge shells averaged 8000 psi and are between 1150 and 1200 fps. He also said some 7/8 oz. buffered 12 gauge loads patterned 100% at 40 yards

They are bound to pattern tighter giving a little bit more range but can't the same thing be achieved with regular 1 oz. loads? Would you expect them to have about the same recoil as similar speed 1 oz. loads because of the added buffer?

So what do you all think? Any advantage to these loads or just another gimmick? At 115 dollars a case plus shipping they aren't cheap.
