I just got off the phone with Browninng. I was told that the run of 16's would not be rolling out the door till Dec of this year. So much for the sept oct dates i was told before.

This is normal in any import business. Plus, with the dollar quaking like a leaf lately, its no surprise that Miroku might wish to drag their feet to see it it goes down a bit more before accepting compensation in Yen. |

Why so sad?
Carolina Sporting Arms website says they have a special run of 16 ga. Citoris in stock NOW!
It also says a 50% deposit is required with your order. So maybe not. |

I am not sue but i think those are left over from the last run. I have a lightning feather classic on order now. The 525 field and sporting clay models are in the new run due out in Dec.

Exacto mundo. CSA is one of the higher priced hold outs and has older stock in stock. the tide has turned their way due to the economic situation. I guess its time to face the truth. Browning 16 ga guns are now at a premium. Those that bought last year or earlier are in good shape. Those that didn't must now fork over more money. How long this tend will go is anyone's guess. We are now at sea so to speak. Its entirely possible that the dollar will keep falling and the Bill Hicks deal go south. Who can say. Blame it on the damned war and fuel prices. We could have avoided this one. Its de ja vu all over again. |

It sound like most of the run is sold. When I put my gun on order this spring the guy at Bill Hicks said that my dealer was one of the first orders in. Now it seems that there are not many left. The 525's were the 1st to go. I might get the gun for under two grand but not much. |
