The primer tube on my large capacity auto primer snapped off at the weld.
I sent them a e-mail are received a prompt response, a request for the
serial number off my machine, and a follow up e-mail indicating they would
send a warranty replacement part.
Great loaders and great service. |

they've been that way for the 30yrs I've dealt with them ... haven't had to deal with them often . Maybe a couple of wad guides .. the primer removal bolt can be gotten at the tractor supply for less than a buck - that's about it for 5 machines ! |

I've also been favorably impressed with MEC. I bought a 20ga 600Jr in the early 1970s. This year I bought one in 16ga. They are essentially the same machines - good quality, made at the same place and at a reasonable price. Accessories and replacement parts are readily available. How many other products can you say that about? |

+1! I'm a huge fan and advocate of MEC. I've used MEC reloaders for more than 50 years. I'm a mechanical engineer, and I'm always amazed at how well thought out their products are. Most people don't recognize how many other manufacturers of shotshell reloaders came along before, during and after MEC started. Why? Because the inferiorities of their products led to early disappearance from the market. MEC took a better systems approach, and the others couldn't compete, and just faded, or found smaller niches. MEC achieved critical mass in the market with better reloading systems, better documentation and support, and better prices. Better marketing too, I'm sure. Good stuff and very helpful people -- no wonder they're #1 in shotshell reloaders by far. It's an understated American success story. |
