I like the idea... it would save me close to $100 also, so I ran it by my son and showed him their website. He loved the look of the poly choke ?????
So we began checking into it a little, Chuck Hawkes doesn't like the performance at all !
We went to a couple sites where people had purchased them and written reviews. A resounding overaul bad review !
I found one blog where some guys liked them, but not many.
Anyone have some first hand experience with one on an 1148-16ga ? |

| The PolychokeII (the one to replace screw in tubes) hasn't gotten glowing reviews . I don't know of anyone who says the original Polychoke doesn't work well . They are an acquired taste aesthetically , certainly , but the three I have on 16s and one on a 12 all pattern and function flawlessly . The 16s actually pattern better than either of my (12 and 20ga) Benellis . I'm sold on the function of the original Polychoke. |

| Went on shotgun forum and posted the polychoke question and got many possitive responses. My son REALLY wants the Poly choke so off it goes to POLYCHOKE !!! |
