Brad,
I'd love to, but that's bird season in Michigan. The season is too short as it is. Can't justify missing a weekend of hunting, just to spend money on another Parker. |

Brad,
I'm going to be making my way down on Saturday and planning on being there a while.
Any others making it to the show?

Hi Brad 6260, Chopper and Parkerman,
I, too, intend to attend the Louisville Gun Show and the Parker banquet on Saturday evening with my bride, Bev!
Best of luck in finding the Parker you're looking for there. I hope to meet you all. Sorry, you can't make it Dave M. but I can understand your thoughts.

The main reason I'm not going, is that weekend is the youth hunt for deer in Michigan also. This is where 14 to 16 year olds get to hunt deer, with a rifle, before the season opens. This is my son's last year for this. We deer hunt in the mornings and evenings. Bird hunt in the afternoon. It's kinda our weekend together. He even cancelled going to the homecoming dance to go hunting. But, he had to promise his girlfriend he'd take her to the Christmas dance. |

Hey Dave M.
Not to butt in, but if I was getting a weekend with my 16-year-old son as you describe and his significant other made the trade she did, I'd be lookin at getting em a limo to the Christmas Dance (besides it could double as a chaperone service ).
Further, this might be the last one for a while if he goes off to college.
Good luck on the hunt - even if you don't see a deer or fire a shot you are blessed. |
