On the walls in my gun/fly fishing room I have pics of my past bird dogs. The pics jog my memory, allowing me to relive the wonderful memories that I shared with my best friends.
Below are two pics of Annie, my French Brittany when she was a pup.

Nice looking pup. I don't have much experience with French Brittays but she sure is cute. I have a similar room with pics of past bird dogs. They have all been special. I can't imagine not having dogs and would not hunt if not for the dogs.

If not for the dogs what would be the point, the only reason I get to go along is to shoot the birds for them. |

Great pics Schultz! Here is one of my French Brit before she arrived home. She's at my feet as I type this. 11 years old this month. Best nose I've ever had on a bird dog.

I've experience the great nose also. Annie's has more hunt than any of my previous dogs and if she has a weakness it is retrieving. Don't' ya just love those tricolors? |
