There's a couple of nice low-pressure loads for Fiocchi hulls here in 7/8 & 1 oz.

what gauge!!!! hahahah, what are we doing here??!!

And on the topic of forgetful........ I had forgotten to check those load sheets- but I didn't find anything for 7/8 oz listed.

Is my guess right that solo 1250 is gone now? Doesn't seem to show on Accurate website.

And where can I FIND any Solo 1000 to buy?!

Off the spread sheets , 1000 might be hard to come by , just assumed you already had some . There are other powders that are easier to come by .

are you breathing in vapors or are you touching the propellant? There are very good respirators for organic vapors available. and Nitrile gloves are cheap. Perhaps these would allow you to use D.B. powders.

what's DB powders? I know what PB is, a single based and it has no nitroG.

The problems happen shooting not loading. Not thinking a mask is going to be a great addition to my shooting attire.

Single based powder- no problem

My thinking is exactly like old time dynamite- burned products with nitroglycerine was giving me headaches, and all rest of the typical syndromes- look it up. My dad worked at a small company that existed against all the competition from Hercules, Atlas and Dupont- from 1 thing on their label- "no headaches". This stuff was a horror for miners. Now nearly all of it is Anfo. ps- Nitro Nobel was the one who started a different direction- kind of well known now...... for prizes.

Took me a few months of shoots to put it together. Last had the problem when I was 15- somewhat forgotten now. And that kiddies was ahhh, many decades ago.

Unique has become my go to small gauge powder. Just tough finding it (or any decent small bore powder) presently. Hoping to score at the Ohio State Trap Shoot this week when I visit. I do have 16 lbs of Solo 1250 so I will use it until I find more Unique. Also starting to try some new Green Dot recipes.

Bob, the headaches are a well known and normal reaction to nitroglycerine.

The headaches are caused by the dilation of the blood vessels in the brain.

The most common use for nitroglycerine in medicine is to dilate the coronary arteries in the heart to relieve chest pain, caused by angina pectoris, by allowing more oxygenated blood to get to the heart muscle.

Unfortunately the nitro doesn't differentiate between blood vessels and it dilates all of them. If you take too much nitro you can drop your blood pressure and feel faint or even pass out.

That's the warning label so contact your doctor and get his advice because, as the saying goes, my advice is worth exactly what you pay for it...nothing.
